Meh

It's alright, but it sounds like something recorded from a student's piano recital. Which is to say that the recording quality isn't that good, and although I can appreciate your talent as a musician, the composition was fairly simple and was a bit slow and anti-climactic. I like the part that comes in at about 1:51. That has the most energy and coolest composition out of the piece, I think.

Agauin, I think your playing is fantastic, it just needs some more flair.

Thanks for the reveiw, though I'm going to have to cut a corner here and say that I disagree with you when you say that My music needs some more flair, because not all music describes action, some classical music can be calm, and relaxing or just plain happy sounding. The way you described it how I intended it to sound, normal speed at first innergetic second then really slow at the end.

Well Rounded

Perfect for it's purpose. Catchy, suspenseful, and just generally kick ass.

As for Kethnarak, I imagine him as a spider-based enemy based on the creepy-crawly sounds in the song. Maybe he's got a bunch of legs and sends out little spiders to attack you.

Anyway, great song, you're quickly becoming one of my favorite artists on the site.

ObsidianSnow responds:

Great to hear what you had to say. I'll definitely take your ideas into consideration... ;)

Awesome, I hope to hear from you again, JohnLeprechaun. Thanks for the review.

Nice.

One of the best on the site, no doubt. The only trouble I had with this one is the piano at the end. Try adding some reverb to it, or at least hold the last note in each riff longer. Other than that, great song.

Awed

Your trance skills are such that I wish to posess some day. The melody was catchy, the beat was fantastic, and the song never got repetitive.

Hook is right!

Right from the first second I knew that this would be an awesome song. Those first few chords got my attention and then kept it. The only problem is that it sounds a bit crowded, try reducing the volume and messing around with the instruments a bit. Other than that, this song is fantastic.

that's slayer?

I didn't even recognize slayer until like, 30 seconds in. Yeah, you pretty much got the hang of rock, all you gotta do is use more realistic drums and less synth. It's supposed to sound like people actually playing the song. It's hard to explain. Great beat, but it's too heavy to be rock.

CKC2009 responds:

heavy metal?

Meh.

The pads are good, but the Slayer is terrible and the percussion is ghastly. The melodies are okay, just a terrible choice of instruments.

The piano was the only part that I truly enjoyed, and it was usually drowned out by Slayer.

Ydnar84 responds:

Took what you said to heart and changed a few things...

Meh

The beat was good, and the little riff there was okay, but holy god it got repetitive. That, and it never really had a melody, just a repeated riff. It sounded okay, but it was pretty much intro material for 3 and a half minutes.

Mans0n responds:

lol no, if you listened to the whole song it changes and i have a lead

Great Song

Your style of music changes so rapidly, adn you're so good at working with different genres. This is a very futuristic, upbeat piece. I like it a lot. This is why you're my favorite NG artist of all time.

Interesting.

I've tried using orchestra hits in my songs before, but no one does it as well as you without sounding stupid. Just as I say about all your songs, amazing. It has a creepy, energetic sound to it. Very catchy beat, too. The intro was fantastic, I don't know what you were worrying about.
