Holy God

Everything just fits together so perfectly! The chord progressions were fantastic, the instruments were so authentic, and the carry of the melodies kept me listening to this several times on loop. My favorite part, though, were the drums. The cymbals were intense, but not overbearing, the drums were clustered but not crowded, and they matched the rest of the song quite well. When you said it flowed naturally, you did not lie.

Thanks for the awesome review man. The drums were actually played live through an e-kit, though they received much tweaking afterward for timing purposes. I'm glad you liked the cymbal/drumming combination as it's my favorite part probably of the entire track. It's what really lends the piece its strength. It's a big improvement over some of my previous work. Moving away from loops to live playing has been a frustrating if worthwhile endeavor for me haha.

Daniel

Aw, man

This would be awesome with lyrics. Not deep lyrics, just some good rhymes that match the mood. The song is really uplifting, and I kept expecting a singer to join in.

I agree sort of.

The intro had a great tone, but the other guitar that came in was way too distorted. At least tone it down a little, and this song would be drastically improved. This song is awesome, though. You have real talent.

Hm...

I definitely felt the 50's rock part in the guitars, but the drums just seemed to.... well, not fit. The guitar introduced at about 0:38 is also incredibly annoying. The second part is also really badly made. I actually had to skip it. Also..

RICK ROLL?!

So...

This is why your song is one higher on the list than mine. I will admit, the first few seconds threw me off, but the rest of the song was great. Congratulations on beng at the top of the list!

Haha FL Studio much?

I can recognize a lot of sytrus instruments in there, including (Brass) brass ensemble and a couple of percussions. The guy is right, the "buwahh" doesn't have to be on every note. Other than that, good job.

Ha.

Guitar part was great, but... it was the only part...

Instrument, instruments.

The song was good, the instruments were not. Slayer was very noticable, and bass was sort of... dull.

Sounds...

Artificial. I don't know if that's what you were aiming for, but it's repetitive, the instruments are really obviously fake, and the melody is sort of annoying to be honest. If you choose better instruments, make the melody more dynamic, make the entire song more dynamic, actually, and re-upload it, then we can talk.

MastaSensei responds:

I diden't want it to sound real(if your speaking abouyt the guitar parts). Btw thats my biggest problem is repetitiveness
